Intense Pulsed Light

Intense pulsed light (IPL), while not a laser per se, employs pulses of light to eliminate the redness associated with rosacea, improve skin texture and fine lines, lighten dark circles under the eye, decrease blood vessels, and remove unwanted pigmentation from the skin. While there may be some short-term redness and inflammation, the procedure has virtually no downtime. When combined with Levulan®, IPL destroys pre-cancerous cells.
