Chemical Peels

Chemical peels even out skin textures and pigmentation by removing the damaged layer of outer skin. They also improve facial blemishes and soften wrinkles.

There is a variety of chemical peels available, ranging from the mild to the deep. These include: Alphahydroxy acid peels (AHAs) such as glycolic, lactic, or fruit acids, medium peels that employ Trichloroacetic acid (TCA), and deep or Phenol peels.  Chemical peels, especially deeper peels, while generally safe in the hands of an experienced doctor, may involve some downtime.
